The Recipe for delicious Chili

All funds go to help with Steve's medical condition.

This is our favorite Chili and it only takes about 15 minutes and one pan to make. You can also freeze it for another day.

     INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Red Kidney beans
  • 1 can (1 lb. 12 ounces) Hunts diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (1 lb. 12 ounces) Hunts tomato sauce

PREPARATION:

  • You can use one large pan from start to finish
  • Cook ground beef, onions, bell pepper, and garlic for approximately 10 minutes. (Make sure the ground beef is cooked
  • Then add to the same pan your can of tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and kidney beans. (Drain kidney beans first)
  • Cook and stir until it gets hot. (Approximately 5 minutes). To retain the best flavor do not let it boil.
  • This should take no more than 15 minutes.
  • Serve with bread or garlic bread, salad, cottage cheese, crackers or fresh fruit.
  • This makes wonderful left over's and tastes even better the next day.

*Additional information* If you like your Chili extra hot just add chili peppers to taste or chili powder. Be sure to taste sauce between adding additional peppers.

If you put too many chili peppers in by accident, just add a small can of tomato sauce and another small can of diced tomatoes.
